If only Pidgeot was included then practically the original Kanto gang would be completed more so if Butterfree and Primeape appears as well.

That was soooo nostalgic. We finally get to see Ash's original starters in action. The first ever season brings back so many memories. I looooove Ash's Charizard. so glad we got to see a bit of it again.

Loved how the moment in the OP where they showcased Swellow was the thunder armor scene LOL. Charizard, Bulbasaur and Squirtle all being back together... really hit me right in the feels. Nostalgia hit me like a train. Also, it's great to see Ash has fans outside of Alola now too XD

Tears we shed in this episode and as someone pointed out, Spoink is dead because it's stopped bouncing on it's tail when Bulbasaur grabbed it. If it stops bouncing, Spoink dies. Idk if the director of this episode is aware but RIP

Characters recognizing Ash as champion finally is so weird. He never got recognized before for ranking high on championships and even for winning Alola it was mentioned like... once, after it. I'm ready for Ash to retire now and give a new protagonist a chance.

Well, Alola is an island region that only had one championchip so far.
There is not alot of or prestige recognition to the title yet.
Of course Ash being the World Champion AND current Alola Champion might change that.
